As we enter July, the heat of summer has finally arrived in Cheyenne with temperatures in the 80’s, which would be a nice cool day in the South. Many times in our lives the heat from our circumstances or even the enemy tries to make us sweat and lose our cool, but in the midst of the heat I remember Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…..”
I am so thankful for all that the Father has done in my life through the blood of the Lamb. He has cleansed me from sin and delivered me from the power of darkness by this powerful, precious, and life giving blood of my Savior. I live in a place of victory as a conqueror over sin and satan through the blood; however the verse doesn’t end there.
We must never forget the power that is in our testimony, it is by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony that we have overcome. A testimony is a confession by a witness to that which he or she knows or has observed. Each of us who have received Jesus as our Lord has witnessed the transformation that He has brought into our lives. It is this transformation that we should testify to each day. As I continue to declare all that the Father has done in my life and all that He has delivered me from, my testimony continues to deliver me into the victory that has been gained by the blood. Refuse to testify to defeat, depression or fear, rather declare each day what the Lord has done in your life. Even in the midst of a trial I can testify of what the Lord has done in the past and what He is about to do in my future. Your testimony of what He has done is a continuous reminder to yourself and those around you of God’s goodness and His victory in your life.
As we continue to testify of all that the Lord has done in our lives it is a witness to those around us to the goodness of God. One of my strongest witnessing tools is my testimony of all that the Lord has done for me. It is this testimony and goodness that will lead others to experience the power of the blood of the Lamb that will provide them with an overcoming testimony.
This month as we make Revelation 12:11 our scripture of the month for Cheyenne Christian Center, let us all remember what the Lord has done for us and to testify of His goodness. This will provide continuous victory in our lives as well as being a witness to our friends and relatives who we minister to each day.
God loves you & so do I,
